Biok accepts Fami-QS site inspection for L-Tryptophan

During April 14-15, 2010, Biok undertakes site audit for Fami-QS approval of L-Tryptophan. The authorized inspectors check production operation and review system file and records based upon Fami-QS guidelines.

L-Tryptophan is regarded as one of essential amino acids together with DL-Methionine, L-Lysine and L-Threonine in feed formulations. In recent years, with active research, global scientists emphasize more functions and importance of L-Tryptophan as feed additive, also forecast in near future, the total market will be expanding up with a fruitful rate.
 
Fami-QS is EU feed additives and premixtures quality system; To get approval means production practice and quality is accepted by European feed industry. It is an important certification for Biok to join in promising EU feed market. Months earlier, Biok has gained HACCP certified as the foundation for this.
